  Timothy and his brother Converse lived with a "rich uncle" in New Brunswick according to a family history written by Sarah A. (Richardson) Lindsey in 1901. In Wright, pages 131 - 132. Timothy joined his brother Converse in New Brunswick from 1827 to 1849, by which time the lumbering operations were in difficulities. Timothy sold out and went back to the United States. Converse's son Ira went to see his uncle Timothy in Vermont in the early 1860's. 1820 Census. Concord Twp., Essex Co., VT Timothy Richardson Males 1 16 - 18 3 16 - 16 1 45 and older Females 1 10 - 16 1 16 - 26 1 45 and older Four engaged in agriculture. There is also a Lot Richardson in Concord. 1830 Census. Wilmington Twp., Windham Co., VT Timothy Richardson Males 1 20 - 30 (aged 28) 1 50 - 60 Females 1 20 - 20 1 40 - 50 1840 Census. no Timothy (aged 38) 1850 Census.
